Life Story
Growing up, I wanted to be a park ranger or a gym teacher. (The latter won out as I was a middle school P.E. teacher for many years.) My hobbies include hiking, tennis, and woodworking.
I’ve been married to my wife Mary since 1983 – although I’ve known her since I was four years old! God has blessed us with two sons (Ben and Seth), two daughters-in-law (Lyndsay and Courtney), and 5 grandkids (Ty, Hudson, Peyton, Caleb, and Teddy).
I was saved in 1981 and started serving in various church ministries in 1995 when I joined Sovereign Grace Church.
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
