Life Story
When Lydia asked Jesus to live in her heart and be her Savior at age five, she made a childlike profession of faith. However, it was at age 18 when the Holy Spirit arrested her heart and she turned from walking on a path of destruction to a life of walking by the Spirit. Lydia began working as our church secretary’s assistant at age 11 and has continued serving in various administrative roles ever since. Her children are the love of her life: Zeke, Eli, Ezra, and Jovie. If she is not sending emails or managing Jimmy's calendar, you'll likely find her enjoying a cup of coffee (which she also does while working!), reading, singing, or exercising. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a professional singer but is overjoyed to use her voice in praise and worship at our local church.
